More Crazy People...
We get this fucking crazy lady who comes in every so often. She seems to complain every single time; either about the price or about how her order was screwed up... blah blah blah.
So the other morning she comes through the Drive Thru and orders a salad. We don't normally sell salads in the morning, but they had just been finished being made. And being customer service oriented as we are, we sold her one. She said something about it being fresh... and since they were just made, I told her they couldnt be fresher. She took her order and carried on her way.
A short time passed, and we became very busy. I was running the drive thru on my own as it was earlier than when I normally have a full staff wroking. She came up to the front counter and started complaining on and on and on to the counter person. Since I knew this lady was a nut, I stepped in and told her to wait aside until I had a chance to talk to her.
So while im running back and fourth trying to do my job, this lady keeps saying how the salad isnt fresh, and asking me why im short staffed. I looked at the salad and told her it looked very tasty to me. I told her I was not short staffed in any way.
She then told me how she had phoned earlier and spoked with a girl who told her we would have fresh salads available.... This made me pause for a moment.
I then told her that I was, in fact, the Manager on shift and I would have been the only person to have answered the phone all morning.
Nope, I talked to a girl manager this morning.
I did have another manager working with me that morning, but she was acting as a crew person... so I yelled over to her "Hey Sandeep did you talk to some lady about salads this morning?" and she yelled back no.
So I informed the crazy lady that she did not talk to any manager that morning, nor did she even phone my restaurant.
"Yes I did, do you want to me to bring in a recording of the conversation?"... So I said, Yeah sure, bring it on in, I'd love to hear that!
Then she seemed to have some kind of a shaking attack and she left.
She phoned a short while later asking for my owner... but she asked for him by the wrong name. So I told her no one by that name works here, and I hung up the phone. She phoned again a little while later with the correct name this time. I told her he was unavailable and she refused to leave a message.
So I told my boss about the whole thing and we all had a good laugh.
These people should really not be allowed to roam the streets alone.
