Drink Carriers and more...
ok, seems that most of my posts are about the Drive Thru, I guess that will continue here...
When you ask for something like a drink carrier, or ketchup, or a sleeve for your coffee cup; I do not need a reason as to why you want it. 99% of the time I already know, and if I didnt know, then I really don't give a fuck. So from now on, just ask, take it and get lost.
On another note, if you have a few drinks with your order, and we hand you a drink carrier with all the drinks on it, TAKE THE DRINK CARRIER. DO NOT make us hold it while you grab the drinks off of it (that hurts our backs by the way), DO NOT ask us to take the drink out and hand them to you one by one, DO NOT give back the empty tray once you have the drinks. I don't know why you cant figure out this shit people, just take it, and get lost!
Also, don't try to bring back condiments you didn't use. I have to put them in the garbage, because I have no idea what crazy diseases you have. So PLEASE, just put them in the garbage yourself.

What is routine and boring to you may be completely unknown to a particular customer. Might it be possible to say, "Go ahead, please keep the tray"?
If the only feeling you have for your customers is contempt, perhaps you should pursue a different line of work.

For those of us who actually use the drink carriers, be kind (or smart enough) to offer them to us with more than one drink ordered!
